A Clinical Study of Clebopride Maleate in Irritable Bowel Syndrome

Abstract
|
|
|
To evaluate the therapeutic effect and tolerance of clebopride maleate, a new antidopaninergic orthopramide, in patients with irritable bowel syndrome, this clinical study was performed.
The results were as follows;
1) Abdominal pain and diarrhea in irritable bowel syndrome disappeared in 14 patients (93.3%), 12 patients (80%) of cases, at 35 days after clebopride administration, respectively.
2) Anorexia and meteorism disappeared in 9 patients (60%), 8 patients (53. 3%) of cases at 35 days after clebopride administration, respectively.
3) The side effects of clebopride were sleepiness (13.3%), weakness (6.7%) and dizziness (6.7%), and the above symptoms disappeared during treatment.
